This was pretty cool, man. Good job.

Twone responds:

Thanks!

Awesome.

I definatly remembered the song from the first chord. Great playing dude!

Also, I wanted to say thankyou so much for NOT DOING A ZELDA SONG like it seems like everyone on this site likes to do.

Great playing, mix it a little better. Perfect cover!

ninjapenguin1 responds:

Thanks so much man! And well what can you say? Zelda does have the BEST music of any series, I've been playing thru Skyward Sword and I LOVE the Orchestrated Soundtrack! :)

Yea..

Well it has potential.. but it sounds way to fucking digital dude.
I honestly couldnt even tell if the guitars were real, just so dry and cut or if they were fake.
The mixing on the drums wasnt good, infact the whole peice needs to be mixed together.

Fix that shit man, and you got yourself a kick ass metal song.

AgeofEnlightenment responds:

thanks for reviewing , yeah this is one of my demos ive been making and i know nothing about mixing and producing really, im just putting this out for the content not quality. but believe me im trying to get better at mixing and stuff but my pc and speakers are old and pretty much crappy.

thanks again for reviewing, and vocals are on the tracks In Preys Wake And RunsWithWolves. more vocals are coming asap!

I dig.

My only problem is things are too dry. Reverb some stuff up, especially that 'tamborine' thing you have going on, and the short strings.

Satyre responds:

I fixed the dry percussions :D! Thanks for the hint.

Honestly..

Honestly, I thought it was a great peice of music. Very simple, because it dosent need anything else.
The beat was solid, and the passage's of the rhythym was great.

Only problem I have is that the first bass runs into itself too much, either make it monophonic or take some release/decay down.
Also, the second bass (if I heard right) was wayyyyyyy to loud. Thats bad.

Overall, good song. Great songwriting.

Cenajus responds:

Yeah... i see what you mean, and thanks.

Lovely

I really enjoyed this song, the only complaint I have is the drums. It just didn't feel 'groovy' enough, but the rest of the instruments were nearly perfect.

Good job!

Kor-Rune responds:

Yeah, I should really put more time into the drum machine, I'm glad you like the song though! Certainly great to have more listeners. Thanks man!

Very cool, but..

To make it short, it needs to be longer.
It doesnt NEED a lead, or any kind of melody, but if you can find the sweet spot it would make this song fucking amazing.

The song is full of potential, keep working on it!

Its okay..

This song isn't as unique as everyone below me might think.. you can find this nearly identical peice of music in most movie and game OST's, however you did a good job on the peice.

Damn.

Seriously. Damn.

I got chills.

Please tell me your percussive instruments used at the first minute of the song, I beg you.

Overall, Very Nice

Its a very good song.
Transitions were clean and clear, and flowed very well.
The only thing is, some riffs were extremely over used, and repetetive.

Also, get a new snare drum! Seriously, that thing sounded like total sh*t to me. No offence to you, it just stood out so far from the song, just personal opinion.

Overall, very nice song writing and playing, good job.

KillTheTrucker responds:

First: Thanks for your review.
Second: I know some parts are repeated a lot, but that's my style. I try to make them sound less prominent by putting vocals over them.
And personally, I like my snare drum very much :)
